Man, I miss that show. I loved the premise, even if I was unimpressed by the execution at times.

  2. Ah, Sliders. I was totally geeked for that show when it came out, as I’ve always been a fan of parallel universe SF, but unfortunately, the execution was terrible, and just kept getting worse, until we got to the completely unwatchable Kari Wuhrer-Jerry O’Connell-Jerry o’Connel’s Brother nadir. I still love the genre, unfortunately it just wasn’t the right series to bring it home.

I loved that show, right up until the kicked out Jerry O’Connell. After that, not so much.

  4. Jerry wasn’t exactly blameless in the whole affair; he was the one who insisted on inserting his talent-free brother into the show’s main cast.

And then there was the whole “replace John Rhys-Davies with Kari freakin’ Wurher” business. Gag.

  6. A friend of mine loved this show. He’s trying to collect the whole series on DVD.
