This sent a chill down my back and brought tears to my eyes.

That was wonderful and she’s exactly the kind of person I want in Congress, so I sent her some money. Thanks!

Its such a powerful approach and a powerful performance. I just wish there were anyone left to persuade on this issue

  3. There are people left to persuade, RW, and the numbers are growing. We’ll have same-sex marriage across most of the nation in the next 10-15 years, I’d be willing to bet. I wish it were faster, and the way Angie Paccione framed it was perfect. Musgrave comes across as a smug, self-righteous, holier-than-thou asshole in that clip, and I really hope Paccione is able to take her out this time around.

You know what somebody should do if somebody hasn’t already done it?

Juxtapose modern commentary on the evils of homosexual marriage with past commentary on the evils of interracial marriage.

It’s hard to tell which is which, until the speaker uses “black and white” instead of “man and woman”.

I have seen this clip before and it is indeed one hell of a strong answer! The way Paccione delivers this fundamentally obvious reply leaves me speechless it’s so compelling.

I believe Paccione is again running for this seat. She came very close to winning it the last time.

  6. Wow. That’s all I can say. That is THE most powerful and moving statement about equality and human rights I have heard in a long, long time.

  8. And guess what gang. Yesterday it was announced that Cuba is going to allow same sex marriage, probably before the year is out. The reason? Their law also says all people are created equal. Once again those evil, Godless commies are out to destroy the world.

That Vid was beautiful! You should elect her President! And send that other self satisfied cow to work down a coal mine. Or better yet, cleaning up chicken droppings. (The worst job I ever had.)
