hear ye! hear ye!

The Friday Pet Blogging Family just expanded! We have a new family member coming to our house. I adopted her Wednesday afternoon but she is staying with her foster mom & sisters until she is spayed–which will be next Wednesday! Without further ado, here is our newest addition:

So far, I think I’m going to name her Zoë.

  1. No. You should name her Ms. Cutey McBootyBootCute Pants. Because she is. Awwwwww! Look at the kitty!

  2. Oh, and congratulations on the new furbaby! 🙂

  3. The cute! It BURNS!

  4. Hey Paul, isn’t Zoë short for Ms. Cutey McBootyBootCute Pants? 🙂

    Quite the precious kitteh, Misty!

Oh she looks like our Sasha when she was a baby, except Sasha doesn’t have the little booties on her feets. Aww. I love it when they haven’t grown totally into their ears yet. Congrats on the new arrival.

Good name for a cute little button – Congrats on the new family member!

Such a looong time to wait to pick her up – what a sweet little face, and the cuuute lil’ white paws. Give her a chin scratch for me when she comes home!

(And yes, I have been accused of being a crazy cat lady in training…)

Thanks everyone! I’m sooooooooo excited to have her.

I’ve been looking for a little while now–and have met several adorable kittens in the process–but she and I just “clicked”. I had been thinking of a black cat but this sweet baby stole my heart.

Mahzeltov and blessings on your house, misty! My own new little furball (who I’ve named Molly, but who is called Little One by everybody) just got spayed on Monday. It’s zero on the fun-o-meter, but all for a good cause.

Some Browncoat love for your new kitteh, Misty.

    AWWWW, thanks!! That’s so cute!

Now I have that song in my head, LOL.

  17. EEEEEEEEkitten. 😀

  18. Misty

I’m glad you decided to blog her today, btw.

Well, I figured I’d wait until Friday. And, you know, after changing my mind on her name a dozen times and just announce her with the one I’ve almost, mostly, for-sure decided on. LOL

  19. KITTEN!!!! Yay!!!

  20. Rottweiler

Kudos for giving this sweet kitty a loving home. She is fortunate, indeed.

  21. My brain just melted from the cute.

  22. Nik E Poo

hehe … I think she looks like she’s on the prowl

    Ms. Cutey McHuntress?

  23. PortlyDyke

OMG! What is it that makes me want to squeeeeeez kittenz!?!

Our neighbor is fostering two from the shelter right now, and we are trying not to visit too often. Her Majesty (we are down to one at present) must be consulted first. Offerings must be made. Household items must be secured.

Congratulations! I call those “ballerina paws” (Her Majesty has white ballerinas in front, Nancy Sinatra hip boots on the back).

  24. She is totally throwing the stink eye!

  25. Zoë is the name of one of the head honchos in our department and he even uses the umlaut over the e.

  26. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee kitten! =^.^=

  27. Alix

    She’s so cute…

I can’t think of anything else to say. My mind has been blown by kitty cuteness. (And my cat’s sitting here making nasty faces at the screen…)

  28. nainam

Zoe is great but I always thought “Tuptim” would be a great name for a cat (that means “ruby” in Thai.)

I know she isn’t Siamese but other great Thai names are:

    “Deejai” (happy)

“Nainam” (in the water–I know this is so inappropriate for a cat but it’s the first word in the Thai primer, “Nainam mee blah” (in the water there are fish) and this is my on-line name.

    “Sue-way” (pretty)

“Jai Yen” (cool heart, means a really cool person)

    “Sabai” (contented)

Thanks for listening to my ideas
